I don't know why but I find it comforting that people in countries other than the US are being subjected to the witch hunts of the RIAA and MPAA. Maybe I think that if enough people are made into criminals by these two indolent associations then no amount of money will be able to buy their forgiveness.

It’s a shame that democracy has devolved into a reactionary system that only responds when enough people are made mad enough to make the elected officials go against whatever all the dollars spell out (or whatever other funny-money people in other countries use [sorry, just can’t resist] ).

By the way, this was all inspired by a Spanish lecturer who was forced to resign after giving a speech on p2p networks. Better hurry up and read his post before it gets censored too. Wait a minute; we don’t live in China. Do we?

apparently IMDB does not like me linking directly to their "whisper of a curl shot" of George Lucas (I tried to load it in my last post). So i've dug up another curl photo just to make sure the comparison is noted.

in homage to commentator can o’corn I now acknowledge that George Lucas is indeed superman.

...and, as you can tell from the image, SuperGeorge can make guys and gals giddy like school girls with the greatest of ease. It's just a shame that in his gray years he's used his powers for evil.

George Lucas

I would start by getting IMDB to post an image of me without a stupid curl making its way down my forehead. This is the guy responsible for movies as we know it so at least an animated gif or something.

anyway, on to the real reason i'm considering becoming George. I think it would be cool, after the third star wars prequel is a success to go back and remake the first two movies. kind of like the movie from a different (better) perspective. that way he could take all the crap people hated, get rid of it, make another star wars movie, make a ton of $, re-cast some turds and make people happy around the globe.
