I don't know why but I find it comforting that people in countries other than the US are being subjected to the witch hunts of the RIAA and MPAA. Maybe I think that if enough people are made into criminals by these two indolent associations then no amount of money will be able to buy their forgiveness.

It’s a shame that democracy has devolved into a reactionary system that only responds when enough people are made mad enough to make the elected officials go against whatever all the dollars spell out (or whatever other funny-money people in other countries use [sorry, just can’t resist] ).

By the way, this was all inspired by a Spanish lecturer who was forced to resign after giving a speech on p2p networks. Better hurry up and read his post before it gets censored too. Wait a minute; we don’t live in China. Do we?
